A bright student understands the Words a 'not so bright' student don't understand them.
The difference between being a bright student or being a 'not so bright' student is only in the number of words and ss, that he/she does understand or does not understand.
Books are made of paper, ink, glue, front, back, etc. But the only way, that an author of a book or text, uses to express his thoughts and ideas – is through words.
So be sure that you understand all the words in the sentence you read. Understand all words on the page you are reading , as you read, and so understand all the words in the chapter you are reading.
Some people believe, that the reason that some students are smarter than other students, is because their parents are wealthy or well-functioning. But there is more to it, than just being wealthy or functioning well.
Wealthy and well-functioning families often have significantly larger vocabularies than less wealthy and well-functioning families. This larger or smaller vocabulary is what they have learned as part of their upbringing.
So it is true that the child, from the wealthy/well-functioning family has a major advantage, both economically and socially. But what is much more important is that the child has a larger vocabulary and a better understanding of the words and their meanings.
So the solution for everyone, no matter what society you come from, is the same: "Never bypass a word which you do not understand."
The pupil or student of the less wealthy/well-functioning family has just a few, or many, more words, that he or she has to learn, to become a bright student.
Notice how it is possible for pupils from less affluent/well-functioning families to break the inter-generational heritage. He/she begins to clear up words, that are not understood, and before long, this student is among the brightest.
